Creativity has been part of Kathleen’s life from as early as she can remember. In her late teens, she fell in love with photography, and over the years she learned to use the tools of light, composition, and photo-manipulation to express herself. During a career teaching biological sciences in higher education, she also earned her A.S. degree in photography at Daytona State College. She has continued to create images with personal meaning and is currently working with alternative processing and mixed media encaustic methods that unite her photographic vision with hand-created art techniques in order to tell visual stories. She has been active in promoting the arts, and she takes great joy in teaching and sharing her passion for photography and art.
