Old Town Dancers, AoA Entry - 2D Art
Old Town Dancers
The art of aging becomes an art when you enjoy your life, and I have indeed enjoyed my life. Part of the things I love about my life are the travels that I’ve been able to experience . Twenty plus years ago my husband Bob and I took a driving trip out west, one of our stops was Albuquerque, New Mexico. We found ourselves in Old Town Albuquerque, an area of narrow streets and century old houses when we came upon a small park where they were celebrating some festival. The little girls in this painting were the stars of that show and we stopped to see what was happening. Everyone was having a wonderful time with festive music with happy children and families. Smiles and laughter ruled the day. It was so much fun and heartwarming, to this day it makes me happy to recall that afternoon in a hot drowsy little town.
