Moments and Memories Blurred by Time
Watches don't last long for me. Never have, so I have purchased a couple a year for as long as I can remember. I don't throw them away, though. I keep the face of the watch and the hands in a baggie. For this project I put the faces in a bowl of water, and some of them wanted to float, so I put a smaller bowl of water on top of them. I set that on a piece of blue materiaI that was old, wrinkled and faded in spots. Next I added some drops of oil and hung some mini lights overhead, then took pictures. I wanted to show how our memories of moments can be distorted after time has passed.
