After a long career in corporate America, Bourassa rediscovered her original passion for painting. She says, “Expressing my creativity through color and form is so exciting to me. Beauty is everywhere, and it gives me great joy to capture some of that beauty in my art.” Since closing her Mid-South marketing consulting business (Blue Moon, Inc.) and moving to Florida in 2018, she has devoted even more time to creating her art. Her creations infuse a brand of realism with a touch of fantasy and joy. She works primarily in acrylics with occasional mixed media. These are often in large scale as well as smaller sizes, and she enjoys creating commission statement pieces.
Fine art by Bourassa is displayed in homes around the Mid-South, as well as Montana, Michigan, Florida and Georgia.
